Summary
For B2B buyers — wholesalers, restaurant suppliers, brand owners and project contractors — putting your own logo on commercial table bases is one of the highest-value customizations in a private-label launch. This guide explains AEONTI's OEM branding and logo policy, the five placement options we support, how pricing is structured, what artwork we need, and how each option affects lead time, so you can plan a private-label table-base run from sample sign-off to container load.

Putting your own logo, brand colour or batch code on a commercial table base is a standard OEM capability at AEONTI — but the rule book on placement, tooling cost, lead time and artwork preparation is not the same across metal finishes and order sizes. This guide walks through exactly what AEONTI covers under OEM branding, the five placement methods we support, how pricing is structured, and the working sequence that takes a private-label launch from sample sign-off to container load.
For B2B buyers — restaurant chains standardising a venue, wholesalers selling under their own label, distributors importing for the contract market, and project owners delivering a turnkey hospitality space — the table base is a high-frequency touchpoint with the end user. A logo, a brand colour or a subtle pattern repeat turns a generic base into a recognisable part of the room. Done well, OEM branding lifts perceived quality, supports after-sale traceability and creates a defensible margin the buyer alone can capture. Done without a clear policy, it produces artwork rework, tooling surprises and container delays.
What AEONTI's OEM Branding Service Covers — and What It Doesn't
AEONTI runs an 8,000 m² manufacturing facility in Foshan, China, producing commercial metal table bases, tabletops and seating for export to more than 60 countries. OEM branding is a standard part of our commercial table-base offering and is available on every base in our wholesale catalogue, provided the order meets our 100-set minimum order quantity (MOQ).
What we cover under OEM branding:
- Logo placement on column, top plate, underside of base disc, or a separate metal nameplate.
- Brand colour matching on powder-coated finishes (RAL or Pantone reference required).
- Engraved or printed batch codes for after-sale traceability.
- Combination of logo plus a short QR code linking to your installation guide or product page.
- Standard 25 to 30 working days of production lead time after sample sign-off, with seven-stage in-line QC before container load.
What we do not cover:
- Trademark or copyright registration of your logo. You remain responsible for confirming that your artwork is yours to use.
- Logo placement on fabrics, plastics or upholstery — this article addresses metal table bases only.
- Loads testing or third-party certification tied to a logo change. We don't issue official load-test certificates; please refer to our standard product specification. Third-party inspection can be arranged at the buyer's cost.
Five Logo Placement Options We Support
AEONTI currently supports five logo placement methods on commercial table bases. Each method differs in tool-up cost, per-unit cost, durability and applicable base material. We recommend confirming your choice against three variables: expected order volume, base material, and the installation environment — indoor restaurant, outdoor patio, coastal, or high-end contract.
| # | Method | Best for | One-time tool-up | Per-unit surcharge | Durability | Min. order |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Laser engraving on steel column | Simple wordmarks, batch codes, QR codes | Low | Low | Permanent; no ink to wear | 100 sets |
| 2 | Etched + filled engraving (paint-filled etching) | Wordmarks that need colour contrast | Low | Medium | Permanent; colour may weather outdoors over years | 100 sets |
| 3 | Silk-screen printing on powder-coated surface | Detailed logos, multi-colour marks on cast iron / stamped steel | Medium | Low–Medium | Good indoors; reduced outdoors | 100 sets |
| 4 | Separate metal nameplate screwed to column | Premium positioning; allows re-branding | Medium | Medium–High | Permanent; replaceable | 100 sets |
| 5 | Direct casting / stamping into the base | High-volume, long-life private label | High (one-off mould) | Very low per unit | Permanent; effectively the lifetime of the base | 300–500 sets |
Notes from our production team:
- For outdoor or coastal installations, we recommend laser engraving or a separate metal nameplate rather than silk-screen printing — UV and salt shorten silk-screen life.
- Direct casting or stamping carries the highest one-time mould cost, but the per-unit surcharge falls sharply at 500+ sets; this is the most cost-efficient route for sustained private-label programmes.
- All five methods can be combined in a single order (for example, a stamped logo on the base disc plus silk-screen brand colour on the column), subject to one combined tooling review.
How OEM Logo Pricing Is Structured at AEONTI
Pricing for OEM branding is split into three components. Each component is itemised separately on every quote we issue, so you can see exactly where the cost sits.
Component 1 — One-time tooling / setup fee. This covers artwork preparation, mould or screen making, and one round of physical pre-production sample. The fee depends on the placement option and the size of the artwork. It is quoted per artwork; if you change the logo later, a new tooling cycle applies.
Component 2 — Per-unit surcharge. This is the additional cost per set for the chosen placement method. It is added on top of the base unit price. For laser engraving and silk-screen printing, this surcharge is small; for separate metal nameplates and direct casting, it is meaningful and should be amortised over the run.
Component 3 — Brand colour matching. If the logo or band needs a colour outside our standard colour chart, we mix the powder to your Pantone or RAL reference. There is no colour-matching fee for colours within our standard chart; custom colours are quoted on a case-by-case basis.
AEONTI does not publish fixed tooling fees online because every logo, base model and run size is different. The fastest way to get an accurate number is to send the artwork and the target base model — our OEM team usually returns a fully itemised quote within two working days.
Six-Step Workflow: From Sample Sign-off to Container Load
- Artwork and specification submission. You send the logo in vector format (AI / EPS / PDF / CDR), the target base model, the desired placement, and the brand colour reference. We reply with a feasibility note within one working day.
- Itemised quotation. We return a per-component quote covering base unit price, tooling fee, per-unit surcharge, colour matching (if any), packaging and FOB or EXW freight terms. TT payment terms apply.
- Pre-production sample. We produce a physical sample — either a fully finished single unit or an artwork-effect proof, depending on the placement method — and ship it by express for your approval. Standard production lead time starts only after sample sign-off, not at PO.
- Production. Bulk production runs in 25 to 30 working days for most base models, depending on run size and factory schedule. You are notified at the start and the midpoint of production.
- Pre-shipment inspection. Our seven-stage QC runs through finish, structure and logo accuracy before container load. You are welcome to appoint a third-party inspector; we coordinate the timing on your behalf.
- Loading and shipping. Goods are EXW Foshan or FOB your nominated port, with full loading photos and a packing list. We do not offer a warranty on commercial table bases; please see our after-sale policy for the spare-parts and replacement procedure.
Artwork and File Requirements
To avoid production delay and tooling rework, please send your artwork as vector files only. We do not accept JPG / PNG / BMP for OEM work.
- Accepted file formats: .AI, .EPS, .PDF (vector), .CDR.
- Colour reference: Pantone (preferred), RAL, or a physical colour chip shipped to our factory in Foshan.
- Minimum line width: 0.3 mm after scale.
- Minimum text height: 2.5 mm after scale; anything below becomes hard to read on the curved surface of a column.
- Bleed and safe area: Allow at least 2 mm bleed around the artwork and 1.5 mm safe area from edges, holes or cast features.
- Artwork changes after tooling has started will trigger a new tooling fee; please confirm the artwork internally before submission.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I print a logo smaller than 2.5 mm high on the column?
Below 2.5 mm the legibility falls off sharply on a curved or textured surface. If your brand mark is genuinely that small, we recommend moving it to a separate metal nameplate where the surface is flat.
Do you charge a tooling fee for reorders?
Only if the logo or placement changes. If you reorder the exact same logo on the exact same base model, the tooling fee is waived; you pay only the per-unit surcharge.
Can you match any Pantone colour?
Yes, we match to Pantone-coated references. For outdoor or coastal installations, please specify a UV-resistant powder; we will quote the UV-stable variant.
How is the OEM sample shipped?
We ship the pre-production sample by international express (DHL / FedEx / UPS) at the customer's cost, typically 5 to 7 days from artwork approval to your desk.
Can I split one container load across multiple logo variants?
Yes, we accept mixed-logo container loads. Each variant carries its own per-unit surcharge but you save on freight, and the 100-set MOQ applies per variant, not per container.
Do you keep my artwork on file for the next order?
Yes. We archive approved artwork files in our OEM system for 36 months from the last order. After that, you may be asked to resend.
Can I use a QR code on the table base?
Yes — laser engraving is the most durable QR carrier. We recommend a minimum 12 mm × 12 mm QR and a short URL behind it, since long dynamic URLs scan poorly.
