Selecting the right load capacity depends on your tabletop material, size, and usage intensity:
Lightweight Tabletops (MDF, particleboard, glass under 800mm)
— Standard base models with 30–50kg single-leg capacity are sufficient. A set of two legs supports 80–120kg total.
Medium Tabletops (solid wood, HPL, standard dining size)
— Standard bases with 50–80kg per leg. Two legs handle 120–160kg. Suitable for most restaurant dining tables.
Heavy Tabletops (sintered stone, marble, quartz, large conference tops)
— Heavy-duty bases with 80–100kg+ per leg. Two legs support 160–200kg+. Required for stone surfaces and 8-seat rectangular tables.
Selection Guide:
1.Calculate tabletop weight (material × area × thickness)
2.Add expected load (dishes, settings, leaning — estimate 15–30kg for restaurant use)
3.Choose a base rated for at least 1.5× your total estimated load for safety margin
