A single defective table base in a residential home is an inconvenience. A defective table base in a 200-seat hotel dining room is a liability — wobbling tables, customer complaints, and in the worst case, a toppled tabletop causing injury.
That's the operating reality for our buyers. AEONTI's QC system is built around the assumption that every unit we ship will live in a high-traffic commercial environment for at least 10 years.
The 7-Stage Quality Control Process
Stage 1 — Incoming Material Inspection
Before production begins, every batch of raw material — steel tubing, cast iron, stainless steel sheet, sintered stone slabs, MDF cores, and finishing chemicals — is inspected against our incoming material specifications.
What we check:
•Steel and iron: grade certification, dimensional tolerance, surface defect scan
•Tabletop substrates: thickness, density, moisture content, formaldehyde emission class
• Finishes: powder coating batch color consistency, adhesion test
Materials that fail this stage are returned to the supplier. We do not start production on unverified inputs.
Stage 2 — CNC Cutting and Forming Verification
After cutting, each component is checked against the CAD drawing for dimensional accuracy. Our new high-power fiber laser cutting line — installed in August 2026 — delivers cutting accuracy within ±0.2 mm, which is verified on a sampling basis against a calibrated reference.
Why this matters: dimensional accuracy at the cutting stage is the foundation for everything that follows. A 1 mm deviation here can become a 5 mm wobble in a fully assembled table.
Stage 3 — Welding and Joint Integrity Check
For table bases, welding is the most failure-prone process. Every welded joint is visually inspected for porosity, undercut, and full penetration. For load-bearing joints, we conduct pull-test sampling on each production batch.
Important note for buyers: AEONTI provide internal test data and welcome buyers to conduct their own verification testing on samples. We are transparent about this and will never quote a certification we have not earned.
Stage 4 — Pre-Finish Cleaning and Surface Preparation
After welding, components go through shot blasting, degreasing, and surface preparation. This stage is often skipped in lower-tier factories, but it's the difference between a powder-coated finish that lasts three years and one that lasts ten.
Stage 5 — Finish Application and Curing
Whether powder coating, chrome plating, or brushed stainless, finish application happens in a controlled environment to minimize dust contamination. Curing temperatures and times are logged against each batch.
Stage 6 — Full Assembly and Wobble Test
Every table base is fully assembled and placed on a calibrated flat-surface test rig. We measure wobble at standard dining height under a representative load. Any base exceeding our internal wobble threshold is rejected and reworked.
Stage 7 — Pre-Shipment Container Loading Inspection
The final stage happens at container loading. Our QC team verifies piece count, model mix, and packaging condition as each unit is loaded, with photo documentation available on request.
